Do you wish you had more support and the tools to better adapt to life's changes? Are you skeptical about counseling? Are you looking to be gently challenged to expand your perspective and improve your quality of life? You don't have to be alone in your journey. It can be difficult making that first move towards the chance at an improved quality of life, no matter your age or the circumstances you are in. It would be an honor to listen to your experience, provide helpful tools, and work with you as you make the changes towards a healthier life!
I'm passionate about using an integrative, collaborative approach to provide a compassionate space that feels safe and judgment-free for you to share your story, feel heard, and work towards your goals. My services are most effective with clients who are at least 17 years old or older. Elder adults, individuals experiencing grief, and individuals with physical disabilities are especially welcome.
It can be overwhelming and intimidating to navigate difficult life changes, especially if it seems like you have little support, control, or knowledge on how to adapt to them.
Whether this is your first time in counseling or if you are familiar with the process, I welcome you to contact me so we can talk through this time in your life together.

My ideal client is a person who may be having difficulty managing the stress of day-to-day life. This stress may stem from relational issues, life transitions, anxiety, grief, depression, or traumatic events. I am particularly interested in men's mental health and exploring the impact that cultural and personal factors play on men. I have worked with clients concerning depression, anxiety, relational issues, stress, trauma, and soul care. My ideal client will be invested in the process of growth through self-discovery and the development of coping skills to address their needs.
I utilize a psychodynamic approach while also utilizing an eclectic range of modalities to tailor our work to fit each client’s needs.
The journey of improving one's mental health can be scary, and I believe that no one should walk it alone. Struggles can begin with our relationships, and I believe that it is also in relationships that we find healing. My desire is to provide an environment that promotes safety for exploring relational dynamics on the path to healing and growth.

Do you feel stuck and overwhelmed by your life? Are you longing for a deeper sense of purpose? You are not alone; many people are struggling to find hope and peace in a chaotic world. However, we do not have to stay stuck here; where there is life, there is a possibility for change. We can rewrite new stories for our lives and rediscover joy in the day-to-day. I take a strengths-based, person-centered approach and use techniques from a combination of therapies, such as Existential-Humanistic Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and CBT, to empower my clients to get to the root of their anxiety, change patterns of thought and behavior that no longer serve them, and rewrite their life’s stories to create a personal story of hope and resilience. I also believe in the power of play and expressive arts as tools for processing trauma, grief, and complex emotions, and love to incorporate those into my sessions.
I am currently a master’s-level Clinical Mental Health Counseling student with University of the Cumberlands and a Counseling Intern with Restore Life Behavioral Health. For the past three years, while I have been working towards my master’s degree in counseling, I’ve worked with children and adolescents with autism and their families, with children enrolled in Head Start and their families and teachers, and with children who have experienced early childhood trauma. Much of my work experience has centered around assisting children with behavioral change and emotional regulation, fostering communication and social skills, and building resilience to offset the effects of adverse childhood experiences. I am passionate about helping others discover their inner strength and capacity for resilience, and I believe that as long as we have breath, we have hope. It would be my joy and honor to partner with you or your loved one on your mental health journey towards hope and healing!
In my free time, I enjoy going on adventures to new places, wandering around forests and mountains, and spending time with my loved ones. I am a storyteller at heart, and I can often be found reading, writing, and watching stories.

Since I was young, I have had a passion for helping people. I also know what it means to struggle with mental health myself. For these reasons, I decided to pursue a career in mental health. I work with people experiencing issues such as trauma, grief, depression, and anxiety, among others. As a Christian myself, I also enjoy incorporating Christian faith into counseling for any clients who are interested in it. If you're unsure about counseling, there may be several potential reasons. Perhaps you grew up in an environment where counseling was not accepted. Perhaps you're a man who feels the shame of not being entirely self-sufficient. No matter your reasoning, consider taking that first step. I'm ready to meet you where you're at.
