Do you wish you had more support and the tools to better adapt to life's changes? Do you wish you felt more in control of your circumstances? Are you skeptical about counseling? You don't have to be alone in your journey. It would be an honor to listen to your experience, provide helpful tools, and work with you as you make the changes towards a healthier life!
I'm passionate about working as a team to better understand the factors that can contribute to a better quality of life. My focus is to provide a compassionate space that feels safe and judgment-free for you to share your story, feel heard, and work towards your goals. All are welcome, especially elder adults and individuals with physical disabilities.
It can be overwhelming and intimidating to navigate difficult life changes, especially if it seems like you have little support, control, or knowledge on how to adapt to them.
Whether this is your first time in counseling or if you are familiar with the process, I welcome you to contact me so we can talk through this time in your life together.
My counseling style is rooted in a strength-based, person-centered approach, focusing on each client's unique strengths and potential for growth. I am passionate about supporting clients as they navigate their mental health journey.
My specialties are in the areas of emotional regulation, behavioral issues, complex trauma, life transitions, cognitive restructuring, and relationship conflicts.
I believe that you can’t achieve positive growth until you build and nurture the therapeutic relationship. In my office you will find a quote on my wall “I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become,” because I firmly believe in the power of personal choice and resilience.

Are the ups and downs of life becoming unmanageable? Anxiety, OCD, depression, and other challenges can exacerbate the typical ebbs and flows of life to what feels like a breaking point. Even if you are at rock bottom, I believe you are a whole, unbroken human being. I believe your power rests within you, even if you are not fully aware of it yet. It is my passion and joy to empower everyone I work with to recognize their wholeness, embody their power, and live a value-oriented lifestyle.
I am a clinical mental health counseling graduate student at Lindsey Wilson College, and I am completing my graduate internship with Restore Life Behavioral Health. I have nearly two years of experience working with individuals of all ages with anxiety disorders, OCD, and depression. I also love empowering individuals ages 8+ to explore identity issues, life transitions, personal growth, and facilitating self-discovery. I combine an individualized, person-centered approach using elements of exposure response prevention, CBT, DBT, ACT, and behavioral activation. I also love to incorporate playful and creative interventions, including games, bibliotherapy, journaling, and art. It would be my honor to walk through the therapy process alongside you or your loved one.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I especially enjoy pool swimming and being outside amongst the trees. I appreciate artistic pursuits like journaling, and reading is one of my favorite pastimes.
